Who was Leonardo DaVinci?
DaVinci was many things an architect, engineer, investor but he was mostly know for being an artist and being able to change how art is seen. DaVinci wanted to change art and how it was seen he wanted to add perspective into his paintings and 3-D figures. His two most famous paintings are the "Mona Lisa" and "The last supper". He was also someone who was very interested in nature it was said that as a young boy he would buy birds from the store and then immediately let them go.
What were his most significant contributions to art, society, science or history?
DaVinci was also an engineer and was said to have drawn designs of things that weren't seen as possible. "Often creating accurate, workable designs for machines like the bicycle, helicopter, submarine and military tank that would not come to fruition for centuries." His art work is also something that has inspired many artists of today's generation and how he gave art more texture. His art is seen by thousands and is one of the most popular artist from the Renaissance period.
