FILM 3- MODERN MARVELS - PAINT

What is Paint? What are its component parts? What are its functions?
Paint is a mixture or a material that could be used as a film like layer to a solid object. It's used to create an image of anything that is around us it could be many different color and types. The different types of components to paint are pigments, binders, liquids and additives these are the most commonly used. Their functions are being able to make different types of paint and their uses.

What do you think were the 3 most significant evolutions in paint? Why?
I think the most significant evolution in paint was when it was first discovered and that's because that was what started art. The second was when they found a way to get different types of paint like water paint and regular paint. The last was when they found out how to evolve art.

What is a painting and how long should it last? Is it important that a painting lasts for 500 years? 30,000 years? Why?
A painting is when someone sees something they like and they try to re-create it on I think that a painting could last 1 year or 100 years but that is what makes art fun because you don't know who you will inspire in others. I don't think that it is important for a painting to last 500 years because that one painting could inspire one person to try painting and because of that they find something that they like so it doesn't matter if a painting lasts long.

Michelango is considered to be one of the most famous artists of his time he was famously know for his skills in sculpting and they rank as some of the most famous in existence. His artwork was seen as out of this world by the people who looked at his artwork.  Who is David Hockney? Some people don't believe his stories. Do you? Why? David Hockney is an English painter, photographer and printmaker. Hockney's work was mostly portraits and self-portraits he would also sometimes make portraits of his friends and his living quarters.
