WARHOL - PBS
1. The shooting by Valerie Solanas, Warhol's early career as commercial illustrator, His close relationship with the "Factory" scene. I like Warhol more because he tells his stories with a certain way that he helps us with any questions that the reader might have. Yes Warhol is considered to be an Avant-Garde because his way of art has challenged traditional art and how we see it.
2. Warhol's Coca-Cola bottles represent a commentary on mass consumerism in America, highlighting the ubiquity and seemingly democratic nature of a product like Coke, where even the wealthiest individuals consume the same thing as the poorest; his decision to paint it was a paradigm shift as it elevated a mundane object to fine art, showcasing the power of advertising and challenging traditional notions of artistic value.
3. He mimicked the advertising art commercial style with this he made a whole new style of art that made it more modern. I think that this is important because it shows us how you could take anything that you see and make it into a form of art.
4. I think that it implies that things could look in any way shape or form and they could still be worth a lot it is basically telling us that no matter how things look you should never put them off just because to you they look like they aren't valuable.
