 1. I choose Banksy because he is an artist that I know a little bit about and I want to be able to learn more about. Compared to the other films where I didn't know any of the artists. Banksy is an artist that I learned about when I was in school and I learned all of the basics and the work that he did. 2. The film maker wanted to make Banksy look like an artist that inspired many people in the art world and I agree that he did because there are many artists that looked at his work and wanted to be able to make similar things as Banksy does. He also portrays him as a person who hides behind his work as he doesn't want people to know who he is.  1. As one of the first institutions in the US solely dedicated to the exhibition of modern art, MoMA was entering relatively uncharted territory.  2. The public has become a way to share what other people have been able to accomplish in the art world and they want to share what they have done.  3 .  The purpose of modern museums is  to collect, preserve, interpret, and display objects of artistic, cultural, or scientific significance for the study and education of the public . A museum should hold art in place for people to be able to see and enjoy.

I like Warhol more because he tells his stories with a certain way that he helps us with any questions that the reader might have. Yes Warhol is considered to be an Avant-Garde because his way of art has challenged traditional art and how we see it.  2.  Warhol's Coca-Cola bottles represent a commentary on mass consumerism in America, highlighting the ubiquity and seemingly democratic nature of a product like Coke, where even the wealthiest individuals consume the same thing as the poorest;  his decision to paint it was a paradigm shift as it  elevated a mundane object to fine art, showcasing the power of advertising and challenging traditional notions of artistic value. 3.  1.  His early work ranged widely in style and subject matter, and displayed considerable understanding of modernist painting.  However, the mature Pop style he arrived at in 1961, which was inspired by comic strips, was greeted by accusations of banality, lack of originality, and, later, even copying. 2.  Roy Lichtenstein was primarily driven by a desire to elevate the often overlooked aesthetic of popular culture, particularly comic books, into fine art by  directly referencing their imagery, bold colors, and graphic style 3.
